Meet Gerry Herzog
After more than 50 years working in technology, I've decided to slow down and do what I've always loved most—helping people understand and fix their computers. I've spent my entire career working with technology, and now I want to use that experience to make life easier for others, especially fellow seniors who might feel overwhelmed by today's digital world.
A Career Built on Technology
My journey with technology began in the United States Navy, where I developed a strong foundation in electronics and systems. From there, I built a diverse career working with some of the biggest names in business and technology.
Throughout my career, I've worked with major corporations like Cincinnati Bell, Siemens, and Mastercard, as well as local businesses including The Community Press and Pipkins Inc. This broad experience has given me insight into technology from every angle—from large enterprise networks to the everyday computers that people rely on at home.
Why I Started Senior Tech Support
After retiring from the corporate world, I realized I wasn't ready to stop working with technology. But I wanted to do something different—something more personal and meaningful. I wanted to help people one-on-one, especially seniors who might feel intimidated by technology but need it to stay connected with family, manage their finances, or simply enjoy their favorite activities online.
I understand that computers can be frustrating, and I know that many seniors prefer to work with someone who takes the time to explain things clearly and patiently. That's exactly what I offer—friendly, professional service without the tech jargon or pressure.
My Approach
I believe in making computer repair as stress-free as possible. When you call me, we'll have a friendly conversation about what's going on with your computer. Then I'll arrange a convenient time to pick it up from your home. I'll take it to my workshop where I can properly diagnose and fix the problem, and then I'll bring it back to you in working order.
Whether it's a virus that needs removing, a slow computer that needs speeding up, or hardware that needs replacing, I've seen it all and I know how to fix it. And if you have questions about how to use your computer better, I'm always happy to share what I know.
